Happy New Year. I just would like to advise you of this kind of scam I was informed this morning and that you may be a victim of:

A guy supposed to be a French national was chatting with a Filipina from Cebu and after one month proposed to marry her and to visit him in France with a tourist visa.

To do so he sent her a check of 2000 Euros with DHL to pay the expenses of her passport and the processing of the visa. Quite a big amount! More or less 130 000 pesos.

The problem was that DHL asked her to pay the fees and the taxes in order to get the check for an amount of 346.50 Euros.

Her fiancé sent her a mail saying that he didn't have the liquidity and to advance the money.

She was supposed to pay these fees via with Western Union in Ivory Coast, in Africa, to the accounting manager.

Of course girls, it was a scam! And be aware of that!

Here under are the copies of all the false documents except for the email of this supposed French fiancé.
